What is a Transcript?

A Transcript is a text version of all the words spoken during a session, for all users, combined together with additional metadata such as timestamps and user information to provide a permanent record of what was said and when. It can be used for record-keeping or as input into other systems.

FAQ: What is the purpose of the Beta?

The primary purpose of the Beta is to give clients the opportunity to experiment with Transcripts with an eye to integrating them into their own systems.

FAQ: What are the limits of the Beta?

From a technical perspective, the Beta has the features you can expect from the production implementation. Most critically, the API and the webhook structure are stable and final.

However, it is not running at full production capacity. For best results, we suggest clients only attempt to transcribe a maximum of 50 to 100 sessions a day.

We may occasionally flush all pending items from a given region to restore responsiveness.

FAQ: How long will the Beta run for?

This Beta version will be available for free until 31 March 2025.
